PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE

Plan your Florida artificial turf project.

What affects artificial turf installation costs?

Your starting budget combines your selected turf’s material price with an installation allowance of $6.00/sq. ft. Putting-green material is $2.00/sq. ft., plus installation. This is a planning estimate, not a final quote.

Existing grass or concrete removal, ground preparation, drainage, access, cutting waste, infill, edging, delivery and tax can affect the final cost. Ask your installer for an itemized quote and confirmation of what is included.

For worked examples, read our Florida artificial turf cost guide, with budgets for 500, 1,000 and 1,500 square feet.

How to measure your yard

For a rectangular area, multiply its length by its width in feet. Divide an irregular yard into smaller shapes, calculate each area, and add them together. Enter your landscape and putting-green areas separately so they are counted once.

Your installer will verify measurements and allow for roll widths, seams and cutting waste before ordering.

Choose turf for the way you use your yard

Compare pile height, texture and color for a lawn; discuss drainage and cleaning needs for pets; and ask about wear and maintenance for play areas. Putting greens need a suitable surface and base design for your intended play.

HOMEOWNER QUESTIONS

A few things worth knowing.

Who will install my turf?

Turf USA supplies the turf and helps you connect with an independent local installer. Your installer will assess the site, confirm the installation scope, and provide their own quote.

Is the calculator a final quote?

No. It combines the selected turf’s material allowance with an installation allowance to help you plan. Your final quote depends on measurements, preparation, access, drainage, materials and other project requirements. Confirm what is included directly with your installer.

Can I request turf samples first?

Yes. Choose a product and request samples at the end of the planner. Turf USA will confirm availability and delivery arrangements so you can compare the actual color and feel.

Will the yard preview show the exact finished result?

The AI preview is an illustration, not a final design or exact product rendering. Use a physical sample to confirm the turf and an installer’s site visit to confirm the project details.

Is there an installer in my area?

Enter your project ZIP code and request an installer introduction. Turf USA will review your location and project needs, then confirm availability before connecting you.

What happens after I send my request?

Your project details and any uploaded photo are saved for Turf USA’s team to review. If you requested samples, the team will confirm fulfillment. If you requested an installer, a preferred installer will reach out within 24–48 hours to discuss your project and next steps.
